BODYPAD - FAQ
For Playstation 2
AND Xbox?
YES.
There is a BodyPad for Playstation 2 (and PSTwo, PS1 and PSOne), and a BodyPad for Xbox.

Working with ALL games? YES.
No dedicated games are needed.
The Bodypad unique signals adaptor let you map your 2 arms and 2 legs buttons (as well as the trigger buttons of your handles) to any of the 4 main signals actions of a gamepad to match any gameplay.
The handles' buttons cover all other gamepad buttons (see here upper).

What are the "arms and legs buttons"? BODYPAD arms and legs buttons are NOT motion sensors (as the Nintendo Wiimote and Nunchuk are).
Why? Because 99.9% of the Playstation 2 & Xbox games do not work with this kind of information.
BODYPAD arms and legs buttons send ON/OFF signals which are understood by video games as if they were coming from your gamepad.

For instance, the Playstation Bodypad arms & legs buttons send any of the 4 main Playstation action buttons: Triangle, Circle, Cross or Square.

So what can I do? You CANNOT create new moves which are not already in the games.
You CAN mimic ANY martial move of fighting games (or sport, dance moves) and trigger the same move on screen IF these moves are already the ones of characters in the game.

Practice will improve your skills, style & fun... Rewards are great.

Working(out) with my arms AND legs? YES.
Both your arms and legs send different signals and are identified as 4 different buttons in the games.
Did this sounds like "exergaming" (exercize + video games)? You bet! See here for more!

Ancestor of the Wiimote? Well... as you can see, there are many differences...
If that means having a "fun + body moving + deeply immersive" video games experience, then YES :)
But there are more in Bodypad: see here why!

Wireless? YES.
There is a wireless (radio frequency) connection between the player and the console. However, all the BODYPAD modules are linked together so there is only one transmitter per BODYPAD.

Multiplayer? YES.
You can play up to 4 BodyPad together.
